The Oyster superyacht range is being built from female moulds that will enable hull and deck structures to be built cost effectively and in much less time than alternative one-off construction methods. Each yacht will be built and certificated to Lloyds 100 classification, which requires the vessel’s structure and many aspects of its machinery and installations to comply with time served design and quality criteria.
The structural engineering will put strength above other criteria, using modern materials and laminating processes that will include a resin infusion system to ensure consistent high quality throughout the structure and an excellent strength to weight ratio.
All three Oyster designs will offer features normally only found in 45m+ (150 ft+) superyachts. Floating joinery work minimises sound and vibration transference.
Engine, generator and other intrusive noises are minimised by flexibly mounted interior joinery throughout the yacht, giving a relaxed and peaceful on board experience.

Matched twin generators allows one to be running constantly, giving continuous 220 volts, water production, water heating, air conditioning and battery charging. A huge fuel carrying capability gives the option to motor across oceans if necessary. This capacity also gives self-sufficiency for months of independent cruising without the need to search out a port of call.
Full Lloyds 100A1 and MCA LY2 classification allow all these new designs to be purchased and operated as commercial craft thus offering many owners significant personal benefits of ownership.
