NEW SUPERSHOAL OYSTER 655

The first of the new Supershoal Oyster 655s will be exhibited at the Southampton Boat Show.

Following the show, this new Oyster 655 will be joining a fleet of 20 Oysters taking part in this year’s Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) on route to her new home, where she will be berthed at the bottom of her owner's garden in Florida. Her 1.8m (6ft) board-up draft will perfectly suit the local cruising around Florida and the Bahamas.

Her bronze board is raised and lowered electro-hydraulically, taking her draft down to 4.3m (14ft), which gives great grip to windward, whilst her twin rudders provide perfect tracking.

Oyster first introduced the Supershoal configuration on the Oyster 82, and there are now two Supershoal 82s afloat.  This feature is also available on the Oyster 54, Oyster 575 and the new Oyster 625, which will be on the water in 2011.

Oyster Berths

You will find us in our usual position on the outside pontoon of the marina – Berths M337,  M338 and M340.  Because the yachts are privately owned and kindly loaned to us for the show by their owners, and, because we want you to enjoy your visit, we can only accommodate so many people on board at any one time. As usual we will operate an appointment system, particularly at busy periods.

We recommend that you make an appointment in advance of your visit, which will ensure you can board at a time to suit you.

OYSTER CHARTER

Oyster Charter specialises in providing a bespoke service for both owners and charter guests and represents a range of very special, privately owned Oyster yachts available to charter from 56’ to 82’, all managed by professional crews. Representatives from our Brokerage team will be on board our yachts at the show with details of all pre-owned Oyster yachts currently listed for sale – please ask if you would like to meet with our Brokerage representatives. In addition, our annual Oyster Brokerage Autumn Show, held at Saxon Wharf, just 10 minutes from the Southampton Boat Show, is a fantastic opportunity to view around 12 or more yachts from across the Oyster fleet.
