Oyster 49/08 - Norman G III

In our opinion Norman G III is a fantastic Oyster 49. The owner commissioned a mini refit during the winter of 2010/11 to completely service, upgrade and modernize the yacht, which was not exactly old or tired to begin with! Work included installation of a new generator, air conditioning, water maker, new modern style saloon seating, Oceanair blinds, new exterior canvaswork, and an exceptionally clever aft sunbed bathing area, as well as new cockpit and foredeck cushions. The yacht’s hull stripes were also repainted to compliment the new styling of the yacht, which now looks completely fresh, modern and extremely stylish. New electronics, data and communication systems were also installed as well as many other items too long to list here.

Norman G III is set up for short-handed sailing, and includes features like electric in-mast furling, electric winches, bow thruster and autopilot. Also, not that a skipper is required for extra hands, but this yacht has been skipper maintained for the last year to ensure she is always “step aboard - ready to go”. We are assured everything on this yacht works, and the yacht is immaculately cleaned and presented.

This has to be one of the best 49s to become available. Norman G III is being sold to enable the owner to take on a new larger Oyster yacht. Viewing is strongly recommended.
